Matt has retransferred the master using his Bottleneck front end, which was recently improved by the addition of Telefunken tubes to replace the original Teslas tubes.

Matt said... "To me, it's the whole second set jam that does it for me!! It sounds more like a Bear mix to me but regardless, one of the finest recordings of the year."

why the hell couldn't each tuning track just be joined to the end of each song? Seems like somewhat of an annoyance IMO. But at least we have the show here on the archive :) Good stuff

This show starts four months of excellent touring in style and is pretty high on the list for consistency.
Big Railroad is next to 12/10/71 for best electric version, for me.
An upgrade with tubes is a gift.
